Reply from the Mayor.
I received a reply yesterday to my letter to the Norwood Payneham and St. Peters Council. It wasn't the reply that I was hoping for, but the one that I was expecting.

Relinquishing some of the space dedicated to cars to green space is positive climate action.
Your Vision. Our Future.
The state government (here in South Australia) is after your input. They want to know what the next 30 years of transport and infrastructure should look like. I'm hoping it's going to have lots of walking, bikes, and trains in it.
Hannover. Roma. Adelaide.
The cars look out for you. You look out for them. And together you dance the right dance and you get where you need to go in reasonable comfort.
Mike Turtur Changes
The bit by Devon Street South where you have to pop out onto Victoria Parade sucks. That the path guides you to an annoying designed-for-pedestrians crossing is an irritation that is easily surmounted by having a squiz at the map beforehand.
Adelaide to Melbourne
It'd be a magic way to spend a couple of weeks, meandering the coast line, eating and drinking the local deliciousnesses. Looking out over the ocean and inland to the massive and diverse countryside that would pass you by.
